Ad Information

ELECTRONIC FILE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ad Space is available in various sizes. See dimensions below.
  • SUBMISSION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
    All photographs must be the following resolution per size to be considered for publication:
  • 72 dpi - for color photos 6"x 8" or larger
    300 dpi - for color photos 6" x 8" or smaller
    150 dpi - for black and white photos 8 x 10 or smaller
    *Small pictures or logos pulled from web sites cannot be used!
  • For quicker file upload and to reduce file size it is strongly recommended that you save in .jpg format.
  • ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS (for graphics)
    We are Macintosh based and accept photos and graphic files (Ads) in the following formats:
    (.tiff, .eps, .jpg, .pdf)
  • For quicker file upload and to reduce file size it is strongly recommended that you save in .jpg or .pdf format
  • Adobe Illustrator 10 or earlier - All fonts must be converted to outlines. Color mode should be set to cmyk. Any placed bitmap files should be included.
  • Adobe Photoshop 8 or earlier - save in .jpg or .pdf format if submitting over internet. Other formats listed above are okay if supplied on disk.
  • Quark Xpress 6.0 or earlier - Follow Quark guidelines and remember to include all file support.
  • Adobe PDF - make sure that any file saved in pdf format has at least 300 dpi resolution.

UNACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS (for graphics)
Any Microsoft Office products such as: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or Publisher. These files will only be accepted for literary purposes and not for graphics.

  • Ad Space Closed and All Ad Copy Due the 28th of each month
  • Hillsborough County and Marion/Levy County Release Date - 15th of each month
  • Polk County Release Date - 17th of each month
